Rethinking Architecture Recruitment

workin.archi platform

Coming back to architecture after my first startup, I started noticing something:

Finding a job in this field still feels like a maze.

That observation turned into a question. Then a project.
That’s how workin.archi started.

The problem

As a junior architect, job hunting often feels broken:

  • Scattered platforms,
  • Inconsistent offers,
  • No real info about the studios,
  • And barely any feedback after applying.

On the firm’s side, it’s just as painful: slow hiring, lots of noise, high costs, and very little context about applicants.

The idea

Build a platform that brings together job listings, studio profiles, and smart candidate tools—but with a clear focus on the architecture field.

Not just another job board. Something deeper:

  • Enriched agency pages (philosophy, projects, team),
  • Search filters that actually make sense,
  • Tools to write and track applications in one place,
  • And more.

Where I’m at

The beta version is live.
I’ve already talked to dozens of architects and studio heads—and the signal is clear: this space needs a fresh take.

The hardest part?
Building something useful without oversimplifying the messy, creative, human world that is architecture.

But that’s exactly the challenge that excites me.
